Polyaspartic Coatings
Polyaspartic is a modern coating chemistry — technically an aliphatic polyurea — that was developed to protect steel bridges from corrosion before it made its way to concrete floors. It cures fast, stays flexible after curing, and is completely UV-stable. On our floors, it's the clear protective topcoat that takes all the abuse: tires, ski edges, road salt, dropped tools, and the intense high-altitude sun.
Most of the floors we install are hybrid systems: an epoxy base coat for adhesion and build, and a polyaspartic topcoat for protection. That pairing gives you the best of both chemistries — epoxy's bond strength to diamond-ground concrete, and polyaspartic's toughness where the floor meets the real world.
